Also founded on the coast of Gulf, the airport is only 15 kilometers far from the town center. Accepting only general aviation flights, St. Tropez can cover all the needs of private jet passengers. As a result of limited transportation options, St. Tropez witnesses 8.000 aircraft movements annually.
There is a fancy bar-restaurant, customs and passport services for international travelers if notified in advance and car rentals in the airport. Apart from these, it is possible to park the aircraft for long terms and have minor maintenance carried out.
During summer months, in order to limit the number of inbound aircrafts and protect the perceived value of St. Tropez, there are certain regulations that St. Tropez private jet charters must obey. If you are to travel with an aircraft that has a weight less than 5.7 tons, your pilot must fly a reconnaissance flight with an instructor. Additionally, all international flights should be notified 24 hours advance.
Since the only means of transportation to St. Tropez are via sea and private jet charters, most of the travelers choose to fly to Nice and then use a private jet charter. Therefore, the most used routes are Nice-St. Tropez, Cannes-St. Tropez and Paris-St. Tropez.
